New York: Silver Screen Productions, 1978.
Price: $650.00
Softcover. Screenplay. Quarto. 77 pages, one page laid in. Bradbound in orange Studio Duplicating Service wrapper. A couple of ink changes in the text, wrappers a little soiled, a very good copy. Laid in is one page photocopied from the screenplay with an ink change, and a note to call a New York literary agent on the verso. A "neo-noir" treatment of the Woolrich story, the film was eventually made in 1980 as *Union City*, directed by Reichert (a.k.a. Marcus Reichert), as a vehicle for singer Debbie Harry, of the rock group *Blondie*. An interesting film that didn't achieve the desired effect of catapulting Harry to film stardom, though she continues to appear in films from time to time.
