Founded in 1912 on the campus of Hampton Institute in Virginia, the Central (formerly “Colored”) Intercollegiate Athletic Association is the oldest African-American athletic conference in the United States, consisting mostly of historically black colleges and universities on the east coast from Pennsylvania to South Carolina. In addition to the proceedings, this issue includes the “President’s Address” by Paul J. Moore, “Reports of Vice Presidents,” and committee reports for baseball, boxing, wrestling, tennis, track, soccer, swimming, etc. Scarce. An attractive, well-preserved copy.
