Unbound. Handbill. Approximately 5¼" x 7¾". Old folds, very good or better. Consisting largely of classical music selections; both of the soloists were professional musicians from the Boston area. The Calhoun School in Calhoun, Alabama, was founded in 1892 by two New England women in conjunction with Booker T. Washington in order to provide education to rural Black children, and received much support from well-wishers in Massachusetts. Whether the fundraiser was held in New England or in Alabama is not clear from the present publication.
