Unbound. Photographically illustrated broadside. Measuring 22" x 14½". Small chip bottom left corner, modest wear at the margins, but otherwise near fine. Upper left of the broadside features an image of the 40 piece African-American band under the direction of Fritz Hawkins, who became an early force in creating Local 471 of the American Federation of Musicians and led efforts to integrate performance venues in Pittsburgh in the 1920s. The broadside promises "Dancing with Plenty of Jazz" until 1 A.M. It also notes that the band used to be the Grand Lodge Band Knights of Pythias of Pennsylvania.
