A letter from Amado to New Jersey architect J. Frederick Cook, Jr. Amado thanks Cook for his letter, agrees to sign his copy of *Quincas Wateryell* when it arrives, and mentions the book *The Family of Man*, which he looks forward to reading. A kind letter from one of the great authors of the Latin American Boom.
