Bilingual text with facing Spanish and English versions (foreword and sketches in English). 788pp. Bit of label residue and lengthy gift inscription on front fly. Light soil, modest wear at the shoulders and spine ends, very good in a worn, good only dust jacket with short chips and tears as well as several internal tape reinforcements. The gift inscription appears to be from a proud Cuban to a visiting Canadian: "On your birthday with the best wishes of victory in order to make Canada the first socialist country in North America." The inscription is signed "Revolutionaryly, Jorge A. Ruiz Morales." Features the work of 40 Cuban poets.
