Hardcover. First edition. Lettering rubbed away on the spine and partially rubbed away on the front board, else a near very good copy. A novel by the noted composer and Inscribed by him: "To Mrs. O.C. Varney from John Philip Sousa 1916." Sousa often inscribed just using his initials, or as J.P. Sousa; it is particularly nice that he signed here using his full name.
