Hardcover. Gelatin silver photograph. Image size approximately 6" x 4½". Mounted in a Kodak folding sleeve. Fine. A well-composed image of four young boys in baseball (Little League?) uniforms: three that read "Yankees" one that reads "Red Sox."The photographer, John Bruen, Sr., who had played semi-pro baseball in his youth, was the grandson of enslaved persons, and lived in Goshen his entire life as a railroad worker, Civil Rights activist, and later a newspaper columnist. A handsome image.
