Clark, the controversial principal of Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey, was a disciplinarian noted for striding through the school hallways with bat in hand, whose life was the basis for the film *Lean on Me* featuring Morgan Freeman as Clark. *OCLC* locates no copies.
