The first copy of Owens' first book Inscribed to her by Trobar Books publisher, George Economou, who was also her husband: "1st copy to Rochelle from George & Bob & Joan, August 4, 1954." Also included are the two original hand-cut cardboard stencils used to create the letter on the cover. Trobar began as a poetry anthology founded by Economou and Robert Kelly in 1960 that ran for five issues. This volume from Owens was the first copy of the first title released under the Trobar Books imprint. A wonderful association.
