Catalogue for an annual art exhibition by the Brooklyn Art Club founded in 1879 in conjunction with the *Brooklyn Daily Eagle*. The club was created for the "purpose of encouraging social interaction among local artists and of extending in ever possible manner the interests of art and its devotees." The catalog lists more than 40 artists, each with between 2-10 pieces, along with their titles and price. Notable artists include book illustrator Susie Skelding, sculpture John Harrison Mills, and illustrator Harry Roseland, a favorite artist of Oprah Winfrey, who specialized in paintings of impoverished African-Americans. *OCLC* locates no copies.
