The Diary of a Young Girl

Garden City: Doubleday, 1952.

Sold

Hardcover. First American edition. Introduction by Eleanor Roosevelt. Spine sunned and other light wear, very good in very good or better dustwrapper with corresponding sunning at the spine and a couple of small tears. The most famous and widely read diary of the 20th Century. Adapted to the screen several times, first and most notably in 1959 by George Stevens, with a script by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, based on their Pulitzer Prize-winning play. A nice, presentable copy of an increasingly scarce title.
