The first book by an African-American to win the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award. The original Broadway production starred Ruby Dee, Sidney Poitier, and Louis Gossett, Jr. Hansberry died in 1965 at the age of 35. A lovely copy of a landmark African-American play. *Blockson 101* #89.
