Hardcover. Oblong small quarto. Measuring 11" x 8½". Screw-bound black leather with gilt titles. Contains 12 sepia-toned silver gelatin photographs measuring between 3½" x 4½" and 8" x 10", without captions. Very good album with near fine photographs. A promotional photo album for the Kohler Aviation Corporation in the 1920s. The images detail the airfield, landing planes, aerial views, and personnel. One photo shows well-dressed passengers posed ascending into the plane. Another image shows mechanics and pilots posed in front of a large bi-plane. The corporation was based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and often flew across Lake Michigan to Wisconsin, ferrying passengers in Loening Amphibian Airplanes, seen throughout the album. This album appears to have been put together for commercial use to market the company.
