A collection of three Club calendar pamphlets from Richwood, Ohio from 1913 to 1917 for The Carpe Diem Club and The Twentieth Century Literary Club. The clubs were adult run for community outreach and activities with religious, political, and social topics. All three calendars include the itinerary for the yearly meetings with information about the speakers and events planned. Both clubs have a focus on music with club songs, vocal performance, and piano duets planned for the club activities, “Carpe diem! Carpe diem! Our god we pray to guide us well. To him we bow in worship now, His praise to sing, his love to tell”. A list of the club leaders and past members are included, one of which is Harriet Thornhill whose husband, French H. Thornhill, was a member of the Country Central and Executive Committee for the Ohio Democratic Party and served as Board member for the state institutions and schools in Ohio.

An interesting collection of ephemera from the 1910s showing the clubs and activates adults partook in.
