Portrait and photographic frontispieces with tissue guards, illustrated from black and white photographs. Red, blue and gilt decorated title pages. Three quarter leather with marble papercovered boards and endpapers, decorative gilt-stamped spine and top edges gilt. Some pages are unopened, both volumes five and six have cracked gutters and are lacking the spines, edges of boards worn with some chipping of the spine ends, still a very good set.
