Softcover. First edition. 12mo. 77, [3]pp. Stapled wrappers. Playwright's address label affixed inside front cover and wrappers a trifle age-toned, else very near fine. Inscribed by Warnock to the director and author: "To Garson Kanin, Who said 'write parts for tall women.' Good Advice! Kathleen." An interesting association. A play about women's basketball by an awarded female sportswriter for the *Columbia (S.C.) Record.* Kanin at the time was married to Marian Seldes, who played one of the *Three Tall Women* in Edward Albee's play of that name, which previewed in 1992, leading us to believe the book was probably inscribed about that time.
