A young woman’s equestrian photo album of her time at the Garden State Park Racetrack in Cherry Hill, New Jersey during the late 1970s. There are color photographs of the woman and her friends riding horses and training with them. The album is mostly full of young people laughing together. Both the fashion and hair styles of the time can be seen on the young people wearing very chic patterned clothes with bell bottom jeans. Some of the pictures show the young woman casually riding her horse or vaulting in her horse riding gear. There are also several pictures of the woman snuggling with a small kitten and hugging her friends. Other pictures included show more horses and their riders. There are several pages full of newspaper clippings from the fire at the Garden State Park Racetrack in 1977. The track itself burned down with only three deaths from the 11,000 people at the racetrack that day. The pictures continue, showing the young woman and her friends going out with their horses as the track slowly started to rebuild.
An interesting photo album of a young woman’s life during her horse racing days in the late 1970s.
