Documentation of a Fluxus or Soft Art installation and "happening" by Argentine-born feminist conceptual artist Marta Minujín collaborating with Squires at his Soft Gallery, an environmental performance space in Washington, DC. Minujín and Squires were commissioned by Harold Rivkin to create an installation using 200 mattresses rented from a Washington, DC hotel. Among those listed as "Photographers" who created events in the environment were Carolee Schneeman, Ray Johnson, Charlotte Moorman, Lynn Anderson, and several others, with their contributions illustrated and noted in the index. The installation was later recreated at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles in 2007 and at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2008. Very scarce. *OCLC* locates five copies.
