A screenplay for a 90-minute, made-for-television movie based on the Herman Melville novel of the same name, along with a copy of the official proposal submitted to The National Endowment for the Humanities. The film was to be produced by Boston University in conjunction with WGBH-Boston and offered to PBS affiliates. The ambitious project was to be directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, famous for his Beatles promotional films, and produced with $1.25 million dollar budget. OCLC locates no copies.
