A collection of photographs taken around 1880 through to 1900 featuring an array of well shot landscapes, houses, farm animals, and posed photos including some platinum prints. The photographs are from the New England area and are mostly landscape shots of forests, lakes, and open fields during different seasons. Several show a wintery landscape and others are of flowers blooming on a forest path. These landscape photos though not professionally taken are well composed and aesthetically pleasing. There are also photographs of cows on a small farm as well as a couple different pictures with horses, one of which is a horse hooked up to a carriage.
Some of the pictures feature an elegant mansion during different seasons, occasionally with an old man standing outside. There is one interior shot and a couple shots of the old man and another young gentleman standing around the house. A young girl is also seen walking through a flower garden around the mansion. There are also a couple of interesting shots on rooftops of buildings in a small city.
