Artist monograph published in Japan as part of a series on American designers and graphic artists. The text consists solely (aside from captions and publishing information) of a brief one-page introduction by Henry Wolf. This copy Inscribed by Chermayeff: "for Shigeki Ono, Ivan Chermayeff. 1994." Shigeki Ono was a designer with the book's publisher and directed the printing of this book, and most of the other books in the series. He is acknowledged in the publisher's colophon.
