Between the Covers

Unbound. Handpainted bar sign on thin cardstock. Approximately 27" x 11". Blue and brownish-red gouache on orange card. Some age-toning, light grease stain above the "y" in "Danny's", small tear by the "B" in "Bar", very good. We can find nothing about the location or date of Danny's Hawaiian Punch Bar, but provenance suggests the New Jersey Shore, perhaps Asbury Park; instinct suggests it is from the late 1950s.
