Hardcover. A collection of eight books by the author Mary Gordon from the library the award-winning poet Alfred Corn. The group starts books with Gordon’s first novel, *The Payment* published in 1978 and ends with her 2000 memoir, *Seeing Through Places*. Each books is warmly Inscribed to Corn, including Gordon’s best-known novel *The Company of Women* which reads: “For Alfred With love and gratitude for your friendship Mary.” Overall the book are near fine or better and housed in two custom cloth boxes with gilt leather spine labels.
