Two Faces of Communism

Houston, Texas: Christian Anti-Communism Crusade, 1961.

Sold

Softcover. Stapled self-wrappers with newsprint cover. 32pp. Near fine with toning and some scattered spots, but devoid the stamps often found applied to this comic. One of two comic books published to combat the spread of Communism by the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade which also produced a series of like-minded pamphlets. This comic begins with a welcoming Nikita Khrushchev standing behind a fence that is hiding a Communist garden of horror with splattered blood, nuclear missiles, and human skulls. And if that scene didn't scare the kids away from Communist, than the next 30-pages of mind-numbing, anti-red political rambling certainly did! An interesting item of Cold War propaganda and a hard comic to find. *OCLC* locates three copies.
