Real Photo Post Card of an Amateur Baseball Team likely from Bath, Pennsylvania
Price: $125.00
Softcover. Gelatin silver real photo post card. 5.5" x 3.5". Tiny rubbed spot in one corner, probably contemporary name of Ida A. Bensing on the verso, near fine. Image of eleven men in full uniform and one man in street clothes, with bats and gloves. While the team is unidentified, the logo on the uniforms is of an Old English-style "B" inside a diamond. It seems most likely that Ida A. Bensing (born c.1889) was a silk mill worker from Bath, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley, and it is likely the "B" stands for Bath.
