Quarter canvas and black card wrappers illustrated in blue, light blue and yellow. Some peel on the spine, smudging on the wrappers, and creasing at the corners of many of the leaves, a good copy. Practical advice on kilns, clay, locations of deposits, etc., with emphasis on the use of pottery in education. Also includes a bibliography. Interesting look at the teaching of pottery which continues to be manifest in the development of Southern handicrafts.
