San Francisco: Davis Brothers, Publishers, 1891.
Softcover. First edition. 12mo. 20pp. Illustrated in color. Printed pebble-grain illustrated stiff wrappers. Small embossed library stamp, and small "released stamp", some modest soiling on the wrappers, and splitting along the spine, about very good. An attractive Christmas story, by David Solis-Cohen, a Philadelphia-born Jewish lawyer and toy importer who moved to Portland, Oregon in 1878, and loomed large in the civic life of that city. Very scarce. *OCLC* locates just six copies, over two records.
