Illustrated by Edmund H. Garrett with mounted water color plates. Spines darkened, corners worn, glue residue on front fly of volume one, about very good with black and white portrait of Howells affixed to half-title of volume one. This is number 216 of 550 copies Signed by Houghton Mifflin Co. on limitation page, Signed by the illustrator on the frontispiece, and Signed by the author on the introductory.
