Hardcover. Gelatin silver photograph. Image size is 6.75" x 4.5", on a 10" x 8" card. A (mostly) uniformed baseball team consisting of twelve men, with caps, belts, mitts, bats, and catcher's mask. Faint dampstain on verse, image is very near fine. Although unidentified on the images, a similar image reveals the names of those pictured: "James Mitchell - Captain", "Howard Keen - Manager" and "Hoblitzal - Umpire". The other players are mentioned by last name only: Finney, Akers, Boarman, Gilbert, Norris, Richardson, Coale, Akers (again), and Nock. A nice vintage image of a team in full regalia, reportedly this was a town team from the countryside surrounding Baltimore.
