[Framed Art]: Drug Dealer Threat Written on the Verso of a Painting

Price: $2,500.00

Unbound. 13" x 34" framed painting. Slight edgewear not affecting the text else near fine. Written on the verso in thick black marker is a threatening message from a local businessman dealing in pharmaceuticals, some would say drug dealer, who remains anonymous, to "Deigo" gently enticing him to pay the $50.00 that is owed before extreme measures are used.

It reads: "Deigo: You made a big boo boo tonite. I had hoped you would come back. $50 ain't shit to me. But you jus' sold your soul for $50. This is my area. If not tomorrow, then the next day or week or month you WILL BE FOUND! So you best stay clear the whole area cuz I got it locked courts + all. All these problems for $50?! Too bad for you. I hope your happy w/ yourself. Good luck to you. Do yourself a favor + make it a point to find me and come correct. Otherwise It Ain't My Fault! Hope it was some good crack. All this for $50 that I forgot already but on a personal level, I NEVER FORGET so find a new area!" The message ends with a drawing of a gun shooting 3 bullets.

An interesting artifact representing the hierarchy of drug culture.
