A photo album documenting the 1953 marriage of Marta Rheinlander to Edward Garba and the honeymoon that followed in New Hampshire. The couple vacationed at the Crawford House in White Mountains, New Hampshire with the slogan "the highest complete White Mountain Resort" and boasting "absolute pollution-free streams and lakes." Edward and Marta enjoyed all the splendor of the White Mountains including hiking, swimming, and canoeing as seen here in wonderful clarity. The New Hampshire landscape is beautifully captured as the two go to Crawford Notch State Park and explore Mount Washington. The hotel itself is described in an informational brochure as a 150-room club "surrounded by 26,000 acres of bother state and national forests." Through Garba's pictures the lovely national forest, mountains, and hotel are preserved through this assortment of high quality photographs.
