Softcover. Oblong octavo. String-tied green cloth over paper boards with "pictures" stamped in light green on the front board measuring 11" x 7". A collection of 202 black and white photographs measuring 2" x 2.75" to 3" x 4.5" with some captions. Curling on the boards, rubbing, and some tears else very good. A photo album of a Michigan farming family taken between 1941 until 1946. Featured are pictures of the land, farm house, and proprietors, along with animals, including a cow named Bessie and new born chicks. The album is full of chores such as digging trenches, tractors and various other equipment, and the surrounding Michigan landscape. Towards the end of the book are a few pictures of the farmer with a returning World War II veteran in full uniform, possibly the man's son. An extensive assortment of photographs documenting life on a farm during the war years.
