Hardcover. Mimeograph leaves printed rectos only on different colors of paper stock in spring-loaded cloth hardcovers with the embossed name of George Gobel. Negligible stains and smudges on the front board, the contents are crisp and clean, very good. The final draft of the production schedule, script, music, commercials, etc. for the Christmas-themed episode (Season 3, Episode 14), which aired on CBS on December 20, 1970. Campbell’s guests included comedians Gobel and Shecky Greene, singers Anne Murray and Mel Tillis, and his parents and sisters. This is Gobel’s copy, and is Inscribed by him on the front pastedown. Famous for his quiet, homespun style of humor and for popularizing several catch phrases, notably “Well, I’ll be a dirty bird,” the crewcut-wearing Gobel (1919-91) starred in his own weekly NBC television show, *The George Gobel Show*, which ran from 1954 to 1960 and earned him a 1955 Emmy Award for “most outstanding new personality.” He was a regular guest on *The Bing Crosby Show*, *The Tonight Show*, *The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour*, and *Hollywood Squares* during the 1960s and 1970s.
