Hardcover. Collection of ephemera from a 1930's-1940's radio performer and businesswoman Joan Briton. Includes folio scrapbook (rear board detached, some other wear and tear), and much additional ephemera apparently intended to be mounted, but which never was, most of the ephemera is fine, except for newspaper clippings. Among the photographs are two Inscribed to Briton by Ed Sullivan (one is fine, the other damaged), as well as a briefly Typed Letter Signed from Sullivan to Briton; a photo Inscribed to Briton from Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy (we can't vouch for the authenticity of the McCarthy signature, because after all, he was a puppet), as well as several of the inscribed images of other radio personalities. An unusual scrapbook from an aspired and talented singer.
