Softcover. Oblong octavo. Flexible leather boards with blank black pages. Modest rubbing and wear on the boards, overall very good, the images are fine or nearly so 110 uncaptioned snapshot photographs on 30 pages. Various sizes between 2.5" x 3.5" and 4.5" x 3.25". The album, from a Fremont, California estate, begins with the first couple of dozen photos of American soldiers in France towards the end of WWI (mostly street scenes, a couple in camp), thereafter they seem to be mainly centered around outdoor activities in California, with photographs of a U.S. Navy exercise showing ships, sea planes, and balloons; American students waving Japanese flags, farm scenes with Caterpillar Cat Sixty farm tractors, a successful hunter posing with two rifles and recent kills (a rabbit and a bobcat), girl's field hockey team, a wooden oil derrick, an auto-camping campsite, and several of a barnstorming air show, some showing acrobatic maneuvers. For the most part, the pictures display interesting subject matter and particularly nice composition and image quality.
