This is copy 33. An early photo book featuring more than 150 images documenting the first wave of the San Francisco punk scene produced by artist and photographer James Stark. This is the true first edition of Stark's book; a collection of Xeroxed photographs taken around San Francisco and later republished as *Punk '77*. This edition is devoid of the text and interviews found in later editions, featuring only the photographs taken by Stark of various club kids and the bands they followed such as the Nuns, The Avengers, The Offs, Double Agent, Devo and many others.
