Unbound. Original jacket art. Watercolor. Measuring 6¼" x 9". Signed in pencil lower right. A little very faint foxing, near fine. Original jacket or cover art by Arthur Barbosa for an apparently unused 1960s or 1970s vintage reprint of the Dreiser novel. So far we have been unable to locate a copy of the book, and thus cannot guarantee that it was published with this art. Barbosa is best-known for the wonderfully imaginative jackets he created for George MacDonald Fraser's *Flashman* novels.
