Nashville, Tennessee: Nashville Army Air Center (AAFCC), [circa 1944].
Softcover. First edition. Octavo. 18pp. Stapled printed wrappers. Slight oxidation to staples and light age-toning, near fine. Signed by Wuest on the second page, following his opening address. Comprehensive overview of Air Force training for Aviation Cadets. The Ohio-born Colonel Jacob Wuest served as Commander of the Air Corps Tactical School from 1929-30, and as an American military attaché in Germany from 1932-1935. He was very alarmed by German rearmament, a concern which U.S. Ambassador Dodd dismissed as "hysterical." He later became the first commanding officer of Dale Mabry field from 1940-1942. Presumably this pamphlet postdates that command. *OCLC* locates a single copy (Wisconsin Veterans Museum Library).
