Softcover. Playscript. Quarto. 37pp., 39pp, and 39pp. Bradbound mimeograph sheet with black and red type in orange wrappers with a duplicating service sticker on the front wrap. Very good with moderate wear to the edges, small stain and sticker. The script for the Broadway play about the Windmill Theater in London, famous for its nude tableaux vivants of the 1930s, and which never closed during the Blitz. Later iit became the host to many up-and-coming British comedians of the 1950s and 1960s, including Peter Seller, Billy Cryer, Bruce Forsyth, and many others. The short-lived production starred Gertrude Musgrove and Dennis Hoey. Basis for the 1954 fllm *Tonight and Every Night * starring Rita Hayworth.
