Contemporary full calf. Ex-library with spine letters, bookplates, paper labels on the rear free endpapers, and small number stamp at the bottom of the first text page of each volume, else no other markings. Early owner's small embossed heraldic stamp on the title page of volume 1 and signature on volume two. The binding is worn, both front boards are detached, a fair only sound set. *ESTC* N27312.
