Between the Covers

Unbound. Hand-colored aquatint on off-white wove paper. Sheet measures approximately 11.25" x 15"; Plate measures approximately 7" x 11". Two small pieces of tape to the top edge, light toning to the outside plate edges, near fine. A beautiful hand-colored print by Frederick Richards, published by *Glamor Paris* in 1955. Richards, a student of Thomas Eakins in Philadelphia, was a painter and illustrator best known for his Life magazine covers from the early 20th Century. A handsome, bright impression.
