Collecting tips:

Stafford was married to Robert Lowell, and later to A.J. Liebling. Her early books are not rare, but are scarce in nice condition. They generally are not very expensive. Her Pulitzer Prize-winning Collected Stories (1969) isn't expensive either. However, very cheap paper was used, and if you find one where the pages aren't yellowed, you should probably buy it (the same is true of Larry McMurtry's Terms of Endearment, which suffers from the same problem).more
