The First Five Translated by a Person of Quality, the Last Five by N. Tate]. Text pages only, complete: Books 1-5: 227, [1] pages; books 6-10: 160 pages. 18 cm. (Octavo). Lacks the title page [London: Edward Poole, 1686 or 1687]. Contemporary half dark green morocco and marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers. The front boards of both volumes are detached, with rubbing to the boards, else very good. The text pages are clean and tight, with moderate age-toning. The text pages from the English edition are very good, with moderate age-toning and a few scattered small tears. From the series, Scriptores erotici Graeci [Greek erotic writers].
