Hardcover. Octavo. One bound volume of monthly issues from January-June, 1852. Illustrated with mezzotint and stipple engraved plates and wood-engravings, and with two hand colored plates. Contemporary quarter leather and cloth boards, gilt spine. Lacking the front cover, endpapers are moderately dust soiled, the final few leaves are lightly creased at one corner, moderate scattered foxing, good overall. A literary magazine founded in 1841, *Graham's Magazine* featured some of the best-known writers of the day, and was celebrated for its fine engravings and artwork. Edgar Allan Poe served as editor and critic during its first two years.
