Publisher's unusual star and dot diagonal fine grain light brown cloth, stamped in gilt on the front board. Scattered foxing and light dampstaining throughout, else a handsome, very good or better copy. Pennsylvania Hall was built by the abolitionist community, and was quickly burned by a mob. Includes remarks by William Lloyd Garrison, Theodore Weld, Angelina Grimke Weld, Abby Kelly, etc. Copies of the plates were offered for sale at the end of the book at the Anti-Slavery Office.
