Hardcover. Volume 5. 12mo. Complete run of Volume Five (12, issues, November 1957 – October 1958) of the digest-size magazine. Bound with all wrappers in green buckram titled in gilt. Some light staining to the endpapers and boards, very good; internally fine. Unlike the publishing company's more serious *Negro Digest* this was Johnson's attempt to focus more on popular news, leavened with a generous selection of black movie stars and bathing beauties.
