Malcolm X's autobiography as related to Alex Haley, the first book for both. The first printing is very scarce. Basis for the excellent 1972 documentary *Malcolm X*, as well as the 1992 Spike Lee film *Malcolm X*, featuring Denzel Washington in the title role.
