Brief but interesting account of the U.S.S. *Aeoles*, formerly the *Grosser Kurfurst* of the North German Lloyd Steamship Company, from its commissioning in Hoboken, New Jersey by the U.S. Navy in 1917 as a troop ship, until it was decommisioned in late 1919. Includes accounts of each of its transatlantic voyages. *OCLC* locates no copies.
