New York: McGraw-Hill, (1958).
Hardcover. First edition. Fine in clipped (but not price-clipped) fine dustwrapper. Every copy we have seen has been clipped in the same way, removing the jacket artist's name. Presumably this was done by the publisher for some reason (Macmillan, for example, frequently did this to allow more retail pricing options up to final distribution). Author was a *New Yorker* writer and was the son of Robert and the father of Peter, a well as the author of *The Off-Islanders*, the basis for the movie *The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming!* A lovely copy of the author's first novel.
